Our History


Inauguration of ICF Vidyaniketan

Inauguration of ICF Vidyaniketan CBSE Curriculum School was on 18.06.2018 by Smt. M.P. Geetha, Principal (Retd.) DAV Girls Senior Secondary School, Mogappair, Chennai; Shri S. Ramalingam, Principal (Retd.) Railway Mixed Higher Secondary School, Perambur, Chennai & Shri E. Adithavaraneswaran, Principal (Retd.) Railway Mixed Higher Secondary School, Perambur, Chennai, in the presence of ICF’s team of Officers and Staff. School has classes from 1 to 10 at present.



The School will function in the same style of Kendriya Vidyalayas . These Class rooms are having Smart learning equipments supplied by TATA Class Edge that will be interactive. The new school will have CCTV coverage for safety of the children and Bio-metric system is available for both the teaching staff and non-teaching staff. The School has the Principal, 29 Teaching Staff and 4 Non-Teaching Staff. The school aims to have a teacher-student ratio of 1:40. ICF Vidyaniketan will also have Southern Railway District Bharat Scouts and Guides now. In future, NCC training would also be added. The school has a strength of 578 students.

This School is established based on the request of ICF Employees who wanted to have CBSE system of education for their wards to fare better in the exams such as NEET, JEE etc. The School will cater to the needs of the Non-Railway students also, though preference will be given to ICF/Railway employees’ wards. The dignitaries present in the inaugural function appreciated the efforts by ICF administration to provide quality standard of education.
